Strategies against misinformation and conspiracy theories.
In everyday life, we are confronted with a lot of information that influences our opinion. Even for adults and well-informed citizens, it is not always easy to determine whether this information is reliable. Filter bubbles, disinformation, and conspiracy theories contribute to this, as well as the way we react to new information.
As part of this workshop, participants will learn about the web tool filterbubble.lu, developed by the Zentrum fir politesch Bildung, and understand the reasons why our brain repeatedly falls for false information.
